Hi all,
When coding the SketchUp2SF plugin, I started to experiment shaders.
These first experiments can be downloaded as a library here:

Enjoy,

I am interesting that somebody ported Sunflow to WebDialogs?
Such was maked by CPhillips for his WD-DHTML(dhtml-suite) tests - http://www.sketchucation.com/scf/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=2239
or http://sketchyutils.googlecode.com/files/UIMockup.png
----
Can make this with sunlow(implement with WebDialogs)?

Hi all,
Here is an update of the exporter:
http://www.crai.archi.fr/RubyLibraryDepot/Ruby/em_fil_page.htm
Browse the page down to "su2sf_11.zip".
User guide included, please read before install.
New features: lights support, save/load settings.
Cheers,

Thank you for such an amazing update! I was hoping to see this happen just like your POV exporter! This really opens up a lot of possibilities. I committed the update (I hope you don't mind Chris) to the source as two folders with the script in the "Plugins" folder and the components in the "Components/su2sf" folder. The instructions say that the zip should put a su2sf folder in the Plugins folder (that's at least how I interpreted it) but that doesn't work - the script needs to be right under the Plugins folder.

Hi guys! Thank you for your hard work! I see lots of improvements here, from the firsts versions to the up-to-date one. Thank you very much to all the developers to take in such a relevance the advancement of a SketchUp exporter.

I've been using sketchup since a long time now, and I'm really looking forward to be able to use a good raytracer in order to get nice results in short times, when needed Wink
I used Vray, but it seems a little too complicated to me: SunFlow seems to be much more user-friendly and easy-to-use.

I've downloaded the latest releases of both binary engine core and SU exporter. Here are some suggestion to improve the plugin:

1. pdf files attached to the ruby exporter totally lacks info about shaders: how to create them, how to handle them,...;
2. the pdf file says that via the exporter one can handle only a few parameters, but doesn't give any clue about manual editing of the exported file;
3. the exporter needs a better handling of materials (shaders): renaming all materials could be very annoying, in case of large and complicated scenes. A user interface within sketch would be really cool;
4. when the exporter will be considered good for a beta, include a new topic in the EXPORTERS section (obvious...).

That is my opinion guys: this is not to be intended as a critic AT ALL: I thank you all a lot, I can see there is a load of work here.
Take them as ideas from a "expert" user of sketch, excited to the idea of being able to use what it seems to be a really great renderer. Very Happy

I can't help to see the next release of the plugin!!!!!!!
